The STORM Is Here!

NEW ENGLAND STORM JR OLYMPIC SOFTBALL PROGRAM

We are extremely happy and proud to be in our 19th season of Jr. Olympic  softball in 2019!

The Storm is currently comprised of 11 teams for ages U12, U14, U16, U18 & 18+.  There are 140+ players from 60 cities/towns and 2 states.

We are a year-round program who fully respects the multi-athlete and their other commitments.

During the Fall we practice outdoors on weekends.  We also offer a few Fall tournaments.

Once Winter approaches, we move indoors on Saturday's and Sunday's.  Saturday's mornings are at Extra Innings in Middleton, MA.

Sunday's we go inside at the 23,000 sq. ft Cousens Gym at Tufts University.  We work under the guidance of Tufts head softball coach Lauren Ebstein and her staff.  Tufts has won the Division III National Softball Championship 3 of the past 8 years!  Tufts is ranked #29 in the nation for their academics!

And, we are excited that we will also be at the 28,000 sq. ft Red Auerbach Gymnasium at Brandeis University during the winter, under the tutelage of head softball coach Danielle Delponte, a former Division I All-League catcher at the University of Connecticut.  Brandeis is rated at #34 in the country for their educational offering.

These are all great female role models for our players!

The Storm also has 2 college softball coaches.  Steve Kraytenberg (our U18 director) of New England College, and myself, John Gambale, at Eastern Nazarene College with Coach Dani Bishop, a former D1 catcher in California.

Aside from our U18's, we are the only Massachusetts Jr. Olympic softball program working jointly with Steve Kraytenberg, who also operates ERA Recruiting.  He is a highly respected member of the softball community in New England.  Steve has many years of knowledge and relationships with most New England area colleges.  He works with all Storm players on the challenging college selection process.

We have a working relationship, and discounts offered for Storm players, at world-reknowned Boyle's Gym of Woburn and Middleton, MA for strength and conditioning.

We also offer college financial aid/payment plans through a major investment firm the the United States.

We attend the finest (age appropriate) College Showcase tournaments in New England with a very clear understanding on how to get noticed, through ERA Recruiting.

We are NOT a baseball program.  Our sole goal and focus is on softball.

All softball instruction and program curriculum has been developed by our 19 year founder, John Gambale.

**$1,000,000+ Since the Fall of 2009, area colleges are now paying over $1,000,000, of athletic money, to current and Storm graduated players!**

The New England Storm is committed to providing families of girls with the highest levels of softball coaching and competition available in the Northeast.  We follow a strict coaching curriculum so as to create a consistent approach.

Most importantly, the New England Storm provides our players with a positive environment through which to grow, both on and off the field.  We pride ourselves on nurturing the development of our young players into scholastic athletes, many of whom leverage this experience in order to participate in collegiate sports.

Storm teams had 4 tournament championships, 5 runner up, and 6 other top 4 finishes during 2018.

Feel free to check out our "family".
